Very Rare If not the only Original that Charle Meire did in Alu Chromy of Halle Gate or so-called Porte De Hal. The Halle Gate is a former medieval city gate and the last vestige of the second walls of Brussels, Belgium built between 1381 and 1383 and it was heavily restored in the 19th century by architect Henri Beyaert. Charles Meire's work is very well respected and not very easy to find. There are very few originals on the market if you get lucky and this one is very special because of its historical significance and the meaning of the Halle Gate to the city of Brussels. And he was the only artist who was able to capture the Halle Gate in Its old original look done by Henri Beyaert which still had that original beauty and gothic look before it was heavily renovated in late 21st Century so this is why this piece of art is so significant and rare. Thank you so very much for stopping by and please message me if you have any questions or if you need more pictures. The picture is 20" x 20".
