Leather-bound hardcover, 6.5” x 9.5”, 61 pages, with letters and ephemera, including: two types of tickets for admission to the memorial services held for the late President Abraham Lincoln at the Boston Music Hall on June 1, 1865; an ALS by the author of this eulogy, Charles Sumner & detailed photo engravings of Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, Jefferson Davis, and others; the program for the City of Boston's memorial services honoring Lincoln; and letters by members of the committee who organized the event. Considering the publishing date of 1865, the book itself is in excellent condition for its age. Includes PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity for Eulogy’s author Charles Sumner’s autograph, graded a PSA Mint 9.
