The 14 AWG Heavy Duty Power Cord (IEC 320 C20 to IEC 320 C15) is built for demanding data center and high-performance computing environments. Wire Gauge (AWG) refers to the thickness of a cable. It affects how much electric current the cable can handle, along with its resistance and overall weight. Thicker wires (lower AWG) carry more current with less resistance, while thinner (higher AWG) wires carry less.
