You will find out the phone number of the SIM card after you top up (recharge) online or buy a one month package. The cheapest package is £6; the cheapest Pay as you go (prepaid) credit recharge is £10. The SIM will only work after this is done!
You will receive the £5 free credit when you top up or buy a package. During certain periods, giffgaff boosts the bonus to £10 or £15. Outside these periods, the bonus is £5.
You can recharge the SIM using a bank card (minimum £6) or a top-up voucher code (minimum £10).
Top up vouchers can be purchased directly from PayPal. Since Giffgaff uses the O2 network, O2 top-up vouchers will work on Giffgaff (on a search engine, type in "O2 UK PayPal top up voucher").

SIM CARD USAGE
If you want to use mobile data, you must buy a data package (which you can in fact do using your airtime credit if you previously topped up). Otherwise your airtime credit (including your £5 bonus) will be consumed very quickly!
This is a UK (+44) physical SIM card (it can be converted to eSIM after activation)
Ideal for those living in the UK, relocating to the UK or for short term visitors.
If you sign up for a monthly package, you can turn off recurring payments so that you do not have to pay every month.
After activating, the SIM must be used once every 6 months to keep it active - this means either: topping up; sending an SMS message; making a phone call; using mobile data. Giffgaff does not support Wifi texting and calling at present.
You can activate the sim card when you are outside the UK.
Existing giffgaff members will not receive the £5 bonus.
You do not need proof of ID to activate the SIM card.

FEATURES
The SIM card has free roaming in the EU and other selected destinations -- the SIM card should ideally be activated and used within the UK in order for its roaming feature to work correctly. If activated within the EU, the monthly packages (goodybags) will only work for a 14-day grace period, after which it will need to be used in the UK in order to carry on using the package. After the 14-day grace period, usage will drain your airtime credit. Additionally, you receive 63 days maximum usage on monthly packages for EU roaming within any 4-month period.
Free EU roaming is limited to 5GB per month, even if you purchase a larger data package.
This SIM card will work in some countries outside the EU too, but if you wish to send messages or make/receive phone calls or use mobile data, roaming charges may apply. If you are based outside Europe and want to use this SIM card outside Europe, please check with Giffgaff directly to make sure that the SIM card will work where you are before buying.

UK delivery may take up to 3 working days
International delivery usually takes around 10 working days (or longer depending on customs/postal delays). To some countries, delivery takes much longer than Ebay's estimated delivery time.
For orders of multiple sim cards, they may arrive in multiple packages and they may not arrive at the same time. The appearance of the packaging may vary.
Orders of 15 or more sim cards will always be sent using a tracked service. For orders with fewer than 15 sim cards, please select one of the "signed" delivery options if you require tracking.
International deliveries:
- Orders to addresses with non-Latin characters sometimes have issues when generating address labels - the order may have to be cancelled and the buyer will be informed.
- Orders to BFPO addresses must select Royal Mail HM Forces Mail as the delivery option.
- Orders to Brazil must include the recipient's phone number and their Cadastro de Pessoa Fisica (CPF) or Cadastro Nacional Pessoa Juridica (CNPJ) in order to clear customs.
- Orders to Israel are incurring significant delays and there is no guarantee on delivery time due to the ongoing conflict.
- Orders to Moldova are incurring delays due to the situation in neighbouring Ukraine.
- Orders to Romania may take over 3 weeks due to customs delays, regardless of eBay's estimated delivery time.
