Rare and fabulous 19th cen Thomas Lane patent pearl reverse glass painting of Crystal Palace in Hyde Park - sparkling scene of ladies, gents and children on a lovely day out with blue sky and flags flying. Usually framed in papier mache, this one is set in four crossed pieces of shaped wood, screwed together. Paintings like this were owned by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
