Rare antique telegraph key from a military radio station RBM ("Levkoy"), which was produced since 1944 (According to one theory, the telegraph key coded MM-3 began to be produced in 1944 at Military Plant No. 3 in besieged Leningrad (renamed NPP Signal in 1966, and NPO Signal in 1974). The code MM may stand for "Morse keyer."). The key is mounted in a metal case on a bakelite platform. The radio station was manufactured at military plant No. 590 (Novosibirsk). It was widely used during the Great Patriotic War in the Red Army of the USSR. Judging by the insulation materials of the remaining key connection wire, it was produced in the 50s.
The case dimensions are 148x75x40 mm (6.0x2.9x1.5 inches). Weight is 290 grams.
The key mechanism works. The condition is good, there are scuffs and traces of time. The steel key cover initially had large scuffs and was repainted. Look carefully at the photo part of the description.
