Product Description
Used for a variety of uses including as a dehumidifier, flower drying, 3-D printer filaments and to keep stored items dry and free from moisture.
When exposed and absorbing moisture, the orange beads will change into a green colour to identify that moisture is present.
The Silica is reusable and can be reactivated and reversed back to the Orange coloured beads by placing the beads on a non-food use oven tray and baking them between 100 degrees C and 120 degrees C for 2 hours. alternatively Silica gel beads can also be reactivated by microwave for about 15-20 mins at DEFROST (stirring occasionally. long enough for the beads to dry out and go from green back to orange)
WARNING. The Orange Indicator silica gel can sometimes bleed colour if it get very wet so care should be taken with it's use against light coloured objects ./ flowers.
