Surface Preparation: 

Meticulous surface preparation is paramount. Similar to the cleaning required for other RV sealant tapes like Eternabond. The surface should be entirely devoid of moisture, dust, dirt, or any foreign particles. Any traces of oil, grease, or other contaminants ought to be eliminated using a cleaning compound or a residue-free cleaner like acetone or lacquer thinner. Saline deposits and other extraneous substances should also be removed.

 

Store the CertainSeal™ material in original container at temperatures between 4°C and 38°C (40°F to 100°F). Shelf life is 5 years when stored as recommended.
