Shimano SLX M7200 1x12 Speed Groupset

Deore M6200/M7200 – Simplicity Without Worry. Designed for riders who value fast shifting, consistent braking performance and durability—and who, above all, appreciate mechanical simplicity. Visually, the M6200 and M7200 components are inspired by the elegant design of the electronic Deore Di2 series. Also technically the mechanical 12-speed components match the performance of their electronic counterparts, making them a viable upgrade option for all MTB disciplines Specification Shimano Deore 12-speed Rapidfire PLUS SL-M6200 Bar Mount Right Ergonomics Elevated. The redesigned shifters of the Deore M6200 series feature improved ergonomics and an even more precise shifting feel. The optimized lever blade is designed so that the first two shifts cover an almost straight lever travel. At the same time, the total lever travel is shorter, while the shifting action feels even crisper. The basis for this ergonomic advancement is the motion sequence that follows the natural movement of the human hand, enabling an even more natural shifting experience. The SL-M6200 shift lever was designed for HyperGlide+ drivetrain systems and, when used in combination with them, offers a Multi-Shift function allows for the simultaneous shifting of up to 3 gears using the main lever blade. It features the same technologies but uses a steel derailleur cage to further enhance the durability of its already robust construction. The wide-link design provides additional strength, while the wedge shape protects against impacts on the trail by deflecting them, thereby preventing the derailleur from getting caught on obstacles. Thanks to HyperGlide+ technology, the robust and durable construction still delivers fast and smooth shifting even under load. The wide sprocket ratio, spanning from 10 to 51 teeth, results in a 510 % gear range, making this sturdy cassette for 1x12-speed drivetrain systems the ideal choice for nearly any application—from XC and Enduro racing to all-day Trail adventures. HyperGlide+ | The conventional HyperGlide technology ensures smooth upshifting thanks to small shifting ramps that guide the chain towards the next larger sprocket. HyperGlide+ adopts this mode of operation, but also applies it in the opposite direction to prevent the chain from dropping when shifting down. The result is smooth and consistent shifting in both directions, free from vibrations and without throwing off the cadence.
