01. Shinsuke Yoshitake HOBONICHI TECHO Planner Cover (original) Shinsuke Yoshitake Today's Adventure Never used but opened. We asked children’s book author and illustrator Shinsuke Yoshitake to create this illustration for the Hobonichi Techo. Children consider even an average day to be full of adventure, and this design is to remind us to write about even our average days and cherish those moments. The cover illustrations are all selected with a focus on drawings of children, mainly from those printed on the bottom of the Hobonichi Techo 2022 Day-Free’s graph paper pages. There are 40 illustrations total on the A6 size Original cover. The natural-colored canvas material has been printed on with an inkjet printer. The interior pocket is printed with Shinsuke Yoshitake’s signature next to an illustration of a sitting baby. Opening your techo to meet the baby’s distant expression is sure to help you feel even more attached to your cover over time. Even before he wrote children’s books and held an office job, Shinsuke Yoshitake has always drawn things that stuck out to him or thoughts that crossed his mind into his techo. The Today’s Adventure cover is filled with a collection of small illustrations that came about as simple sketches. There are so many cute poses in the mix, with some looking bored and others staring off deep into space. These still drawings are so filled with Yoshitake’s artistic charm that you can almost see the characters move and hear them talk. These illustrations may look like nothing but plain, everyday situations, but they’re all a continuation of our everyday adventures. Have your own everyday adventures with your Hobonichi Techo. Himitsu Stranger This is the original size. I used it at home for about a week with a notebook between. I think it is in good condition. The song-art book Himitsu Stranger is based on the lyrics from 13 songs recorded by Masamune Kusano for the music album “Himitsu Studio” by his rock band Spitz. Artist junaida illustrated the lyrical stories for each of the songs. This techo cover is packed with all the charm of Himitsu Stranger as it features an all-over print of the illustrations on the front cover of the special book. The array of strange characters and items are all straight from the book and were drawn in response to Kusano’s suggestion to draw them in a deformed style. It’s fun to look through all the images and let your mind wander as you wonder about the story behind each character and in which scene each item appeared. In order to retain the vibrant colors of the original art, the cover is made with a fine-grain polyester material that’s velvety and smooth to the touch. The back of the cover also has illustrations hidden inside the pocket. Peek inside and you’ll get a glance at art that’s different from that on the outside. The cover interior is printed with pencil drawings from the book. From the various stories within the book, you can see recreations of the kind of scenes that go along with what it’s like to use the techo every day, such as scenes from everyday life, the passage of seasons and time, and a broad range of emotions. The song-art book Himitsu Stranger that this cover is based on is also for sale in the Hobonichi Store so you can experience the rich blend of lyrics with illustrated narratives. Dorami-chan Orange and yellow checkered notebook with cute characters. Design : Orange and yellow checkered notebook with cute character illustration. Internal structure : with pockets, includes life book Character : illustration of a cute character on the cover Kept in cover-on-cover condition. Comes with underlay. This cover is the latest addition to the Hobonichi Techo’s Japan Manga Classics series. It features the popular character Dorami-chan from Doraemon, the classic series from celebrated manga artist Fujiko F. Fujio. Art director Idea Oshima designed this lovely cover to reflect all the cuteness of Dorami-chan herself, starting with the expression on her face in the silkscreen print at the center. Special attention was paid to the way Dorami-chan was printed differently from the rest of the cover, giving it a special texture. Dorami-chan’s pockets inspired the yellow-and-red plaid pattern. The two round, black strings of the bookmarks have small red and white flowers as charms, modeled after Dorami-chan’s tail. The cover interior is a pale cream color. While Dorami-chan is the star of this cover, Doraemon and Nobita-kun do make little cameos! Inside the cover is “Nobiemon,” who appears in Volume 17 of Doraemon from the Tentomushi Comics series. This cover includes a sticker of Doraemon lying down. Original size. A6. Very cute design in navy and white. There are no scratches or stains, but please buy it if you understand that it has been kept at home. minä perhonen creates timeless, all-original garment textiles that are specially dyed, embroidered, and woven to recreate hand-drawn designs. Ever since it was born in 2000, “tambourine” is one of minä perhonen’s trademark designs. The pattern features small dots of embroidery arranged in a circle, reminiscent of a tambourine. Because the base of the embroidered dots is drawn by hand, each dot holds a different expression. The pattern conveys how imperfections are beautiful and there is not one same thing in this world. The “tambourine” design has appeared a few times in the past as Hobonichi Techos, but this time, we chose the classic navy and white color combination. The base fabric is a linen georgette that has an elegant sheen matched with the woven texture. Thick threads were roughly woven to create a supple texture. The “butterfly-stopper” pen holders and cover interior are navy blue to match the textile. Two dotted lace bookmarks are attached. About minä perhonen minä perhonen is a brand created by designer Akira Minagawa. First founded in 1995 under the name minä, and renamed “minä perhonen” in 2003.
