Replacement Boards

Replacement boards for Spa Systems, are not universal. 

They may "Look right" but that is no indication of programming compatibility. 

Balboa circuit boards are marked with a “Chip Number”. 

The chipset of this board is BP501G3

The chip # will be followed by an R##, the R stands for revision and the numbers are the version of the chipset. The revisions are backwards compatible. R2 Replaces R1...

There is a small white sticker that is placed directly on the green board or on one of the logic chips near the center of the board.  

It is imperative that this number is supplied to us for proper circuit board match. Just because boards may look similar the programming may not allow it to work properly in all applications. If your Chip # is not mentioned in this listing do not assume that it will work, please send us your current chip number and/or a clear photograph of the chip # and allow us to investigate compatibility.
