Lovely colorful teapot, creamer and sugar bowl; all pieces are in perfect condition. Colors are vibrant and with such lovely detail. The handles have pieces of branch that attaches to the pot and the creamer (may have to update these photos of the handle detail). All pieces are marked on the bottom with the Herend logo and the following numbers:

Some History

Herend Porcelain is a Hungarian manufacturing company, specializing in luxury hand painted and gilded porcelain. Founded in 1826, it is based in the town of Herend  near the city of Veszprem.  Herend is noted for their famous fishnet design that decorates many of the animals.  This style took form in 1858 when a Herend painter became inspired by a fishscale design he saw on a Chinese porcelain plate.
