The gas struts are shipped with the ‘eye holes’ at the respective ends of the gas struts as shown in the technical drawing (see technical drawing). The eye holes can be dismantled.
Installation instructions
● To ensure optimum performance of the gas spring, it must be installed with the piston rod pointing downwards.
● The warning label or the serigraphy should not be removed.
● When testing the gas springs, the piston must be pointing downwards.
● The piston rod should be protected from dust, paint and damage.
● The gas spring should not be mechanical, modified or damaged.
