The fabric used is an original 14oz selvedge sashiko, woven on a power loom using the highest concentration of hank-dyed indigo yarns for both the warp and weft.
To faithfully recreate the thick, textured feel that is characteristic of traditional sashiko fabric, the weave density has been pushed to the limit. As a result, only half a bolt can be woven in a day.

This is a tailored jacket with a slim silhouette, achieved by incorporating waist darts.
The selvedge detail running down the back center adds a striking accent.
Natural nut buttons are used for a refined touch.

The sashiko fabric, made with deep indigo hank-dyed yarns for both warp and weft, has been given a stone bio-wash finish to create a worn-in, vintage look.
Over time, the indigo-dyed sashiko fabric will develop a unique patina, offering a different kind of aging process compared to denim.
