There are some small chips and old worm holes. Fumigation / Disinfection Treatment has been applied to all our wooden items before they were shipped to US from China.
The statues were used as incense holders before. The hole on the back of each dog is for holding the incense. Some parts of the statues have been burned, so they are dark.
