Info:
Before Fender arrived at the name "Telecaster" in February 1951, a few hundred of the guitars left the factory with no name except "Fender" on the headstock. These "Nocaster" guitars were hence among the very earliest Telecaster guitars.
Authentically vintage-sounding Fender Custom Shop '51 Nocaster pickups evoke the sound of those first formative instruments with that coveted signature twang and perfectly voiced mid-range.
All Custom Shop pickups are constructed with cloth lead wires, fiber bobbins and are wax potted.
Each pickup is designed and hand-built by a small team of individuals in the Fender Custom Shop.
