Long term storage in Mylar bags with acid-free boards

until submission to CGC!!

BOTH of these issues were bagged and boarded soon after I purchased them and - beginning in 1990 - when I converted my entire collection to storage in archival bags, they were preserved in thick archival Mylar bags with heavy-weight acid-free boards, and stored in my smoke-free, pet-free, climate-controlled home.  Each one was removed from its Mylar bag for the first time to be graded by CGC!!  I submitted them to CGC for grading and encasement, and they were returned, with 6.5 and 8.0 Grades, and CONSECUTIVE CGC Certification Numbers.  Each copy, both before and after processing by CGC,  has NEVER spent a single day in an attic, basement or storage unit, (and NEVER will as long as I own it!)  Since they were received from CGC, each of these issues has been stored in, and each one will be shipped to its new owner in, its CGC-issued protective polybag.

Thanks to careful handling, and long-term storage in Mylar, and despite the fact that each one turned SIX DECADES old by the start of 2023, they STILL have vibrant colors on their covers, and their CGC Universal Labels show that #42 still has WHITE pages, while #41's pages rated an Off-White to White designation!! 

This pair of issues came back from CGC graded 6.5 (#41) and 8.0 (#42) and sporting CONSECUTIVE Certification Numbers . . .

 (2067114003 and 2067114004) - which makes this pair pretty UNIQUE!!

Note that the photos used in this listing are not stock images. They are images of the exact copies being offered for sale.  The photos show:  the front covers of the pair of  issues; each front and back cover; the CGC Banner with the Grades and creator and content details for BOTH issues; and the pair of issues back in their CGC-issued polybags and ready to be shipped to their new owner.  The final two images show the CGC Census for each issue as of March 29th, 2025.
