Antique Art Nouveau Cold Painted Bronze Winged Cherub Putti Scribe Paperweight/Sculpture on Marble Base by Ferrand

Late 19th/Early 20th century bronze depicting a winged cherub scribe writing with a feather pen.

Ernest Justin Ferrand (1846-1932) 

.A well listed and renowned artist, regular participant at the Paris Salon starting in 1882. 

This artist presented people, diverse scenes and allegories. 

Condition:

Figurine is in good condition considerate of age, with some wear to the painted finish, and some abrasions to the marble base; as shown.

Cherub retains it's original feather pen, missing in most of the examples that have sold previously.

Pen is removable, and will be packed separately with the sculpture.
