XL Rooted Mosasaur Tooth In Box Frame (Mosasaurus sp)

A large Mosasaur Tooth on Original Root in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The Latin and common names are printed underneath the specimen.

Approximately 66 to 70 million years ago, during the Late Cretaceous epoch, Mosasaurs were ferocious sea reptiles. This tooth, still linked to its original root, offers important details about the composition and functionality of the teeth of these extinct carnivores. Mosasaur teeth were designed with a conical form and serrated edges to grab and eat animals in the sea.

The fossil you receive will be a very close example to the one shown in the photo.
