Guarkern meal, also called Guar Gum or Guar rubber is an additive (E412) that is used as a thickener, gelling agent, flour treatment and filler. Guarkern meal comes from the seeds of the Cyamopsis tree, which is native to India. This product is used in the food industry as a thickening and gelling agent in soup, potato porridge, desserts spice saur and mayonnaises.
