Eduard Nikolayevich Uspensky (22 December 1937 – 14 August 2018) was a Russian children's writer and poet, author of over 70 books, as well as a playwright, screenwriter and TV presenter. His works have been translated into 25 languages and spawned around 60 cartoon adaptations. Among the characters he created are Cheburashka and Crocodile Gena, Uncle Fyodor and Kolobki brothers. He was awarded IV Class Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" in 1997.

CONDITION:

This hard-cover book is in near fine condition with like dust jacket. The hardcover (green and embossed paper covered boards with white cloth spine) is clean except for some spotting or smudging on the boards (see pics), but shows only slight wear at the corners and spine ends. The interior is excellent with no names, marks, underlining, tears or odor. The hinges and binding are excellent with no loose or missing pages.

The dust jacket is complete with price intact on the front flap, and has no flaws to speak of. This dust jacket will come protected in a new Brodart mylar dust jacket protector.
