Features of the 123/Porsche-911-B electronic ignition

The 123/Porsche-911-B offers:
- Vacuum-advance
- Automatic dwell
- Automatic power-cut after 1 second
- Gear shift retard

Please note about the 123/Porsche-911-B 123ignition

Note: Porsche 3.0 SC has a different pinon and runs CCW, this 123 ignition does not fit.

If you want to tune your engine, we've got great news for you: this product is also available in a 123/TUNE version! Please read about the 123/TUNE-6-R-V-Porsche-911-B here.

You can use this ignition 123 with the 3-wire HKZ system. The tachometer continues to work normally.

WARNING: Our coils cannot be used in combination with an HKZ/CDI. In that case, please continue using your current coil.

Please read the installation manual carefully. It contains more information about the specifications of the 123-ignition and a step-by-step description of the installation procedure.

Coil

Although used coils all look alike, they should be viewed with suspicion since one cannot tell from the outside whether, and how often they were exposed to overheating in the past. Installing the 123ignition system will ensure that the coil will never be overheated again in future. We recommend the High Energy #2020 Coil.
