An early pair of silvered brass wall sconces. These were taken down from either side of a hallway in a lively French property but have been stored for many years. As such these require a full rewire.

You will also notice that 2 of the faux wax candlesticks are not matching. A full set is easily purchased to replace both sconces at little expense to ensure a match.

We are listing about 50 chandeliers that have all been taken down from a multi million pound chateau in South Western France which is now being fully restored with the owner deciding to replace everything with modern lighting.

Whilst all the chandeliers were working when taken down, all are in need of a rewire as French wiring regs are different to the UK to say the least. As the chateau wasn’t lived in for a number of years they also all require a good clean or polish. The photos are the best description of condition but these are good quality antique chandeliers that will make wonderful additions (and investments) for their new owner once they’ve undergone a bit of work.

Dimensions provided in the title are the widest point and in the case of height the full length including chain/rose to the very bottom. It goes without saying chains can be shortened or lengthened to increase/decrease hanging height.

Priced to sell, anyone looking I’m sure will know once cleaned and rewired these often sell for a lot of money.

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION

Delivery: To simplify our delivery costs we categorise all our items in to three size, small, medium and large. We can deliver small items to most places of mainland UK for £60, medium items for £75 and large items for £90. The only exception to this are smaller items such as small chandeliers or stools, these may be sent via courier services (DPD, Royal Mail, Pacelforce). 

Should you wish to purchase multiple items please do get in contact and we will be happy to discuss a reduced delivery charge on the additional purchases. 

This does exclude Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Northern Scotland however, we can in most cases deliver to these places for an additional fee. Please message us prior to purchase for an accurate quote.

In most cases all items are now delivered by a two person team. If you require a specific delivery date please do let us know and we will try our best to accommodate.  

We aim to have your item/s with you in 4-7 working days however sometimes it can take a little longer. We will of course let you know if this is going to be the case.  

Collection: It goes without saying we are very happy for you to collect any items yourself and will be on hand to help assist loading where possible.

Using your own courier: Again this is fine but we will require a minimum of 48 hours from the collection driver. Please note postage couriers, such as DPD/Yodel/FedEx etc. cannot be used for furniture items, and we do not have a packaging service available.

International Shipping - We work with a number of overseas clients and are happy to assist with delivery to your selected shipping company storage facility. Please message us to discuss in further detail. 

All items must be collected within 30 days of purchase, and payment must be received within 5 working days of purchase or we reserve the right to cancel the transaction.
