Condition: For Parts, Not Working, Repair

Tested Not Working 100%.  Screen only says Hello and never changes.  DVD Plays, VHS does not play. The VHS eject button works. Unable to get the VCR to play, FF or Rewind with remote or controls on the combo unit.  Batteries for remote not included. Please see pictures.
