Up for auction is a precision CNCd, unfinished replacement or project guitar body. This body does not have a finish on it. It has been sanded to 220 grit. Body Wood................  Poplar Bridge Compatibility....  This body will fit either an Original Floyd Rose (OFR) or a Gotoh Floyd Rose (GE1996T)  Important bridge information- The bushing holes are predrilled for OFR style stud bushings (10mm diameter).  A Gotoh type Floyd Rose comes with 11mm bushings.  We can open up the holes to accept the 11mm Gotoh bushings, but you must message us immediately after purchasing if you need the bushing holes opened up.  If we do not get a message from you, the body will ship with 10mm holes.  If you are unsure which bridge you want to use, or forget to message us to open up the bushing holes to accept wider, Gotoh bushings, the Gotoh Floyd Rose will function properly if used with 10mm OFR style bushings.  The Stewmac Part # for the 10mm OFR style Studs and bushings is #2155 The use of 32 or 33mm sustain blocks will be required.  The stock, 42mm sustain blocks can technically work, however they will stick out of the back of the guitar and you will not be able to use the spring cavity cover. The use of any other bridge other than an Original Floyd Rose or Gotoh Floyd Rose will likely require modifications by a qualified technician to work. Pick Up Configuration..... The body is cut for a top mount, Tele Style control plate Contours................ This body features both a stomach and arm contour Neck Pocket................Despite the body being cut as a Tele style, this particular body was cut with a Strat neck pocket simply due to the fact that most of the necks that are routed for Floyd locknuts are cut with a Strat heel.  Our neck pockets are cut to have a snug fit with 2 3/16" width (nominal dimensions), 6 string Fender Strat specs. (compatible with Strat style 21/22 fret, 25.5" scale necks.  ).  Please note that to ensure you have a snug fit with your neck and to ensure plenty of adjustment space for height setup parameters, we purposely cut our neck pockets to the tight and shallow side of tolerance, meaning if you have a neck  in the middle to wide side of heel width tolerance, simple neck pocket adjustments may be required.   This is a feature to ensure an optimized fit of your neck.  We aim for .60-.62" pocket depth (if you need the pocket deeper, we will need to have a discussion before you purchase the body).  The exact pocket width is displayed in the item pictures.  We take the time to publish these dimensions so there are no surprises when you receive the body.  If the pictured dimensions do not make sense to you, or you do not have the resources to do simple neck pocket modifications (either widening or deepening the neck pocket), you should consult with a qualified and competent technician before attempting to assemble your own guitar.  Weight......................... 3 lbs 14 oz All wiring holes are predrilled. Includes a  complimentary rear cavity cover (either clear or matte black).  The body will default ship with  a clear cover.  If you would prefer  black covers, you must message us immediately after ordering.  If we do not get a message that you would prefer a black cover, it will ship with  a clear cover.  Please note that we intentionally build some slop into the fit of the cavity covers to account for finish build up inside of the cavity.  This is a feature to save you time and fitting work after you finalize the finishing process on the body.
