Technical Information about Headlight Fogging
The lights are not completely sealed, and there are air outlets behind the headlights for cooling and balancing the internal air pressure. During the assembly and warehouse storage of the headlights, some wet and cold air will accumulate inside the headlights. When the new lights start to be used, the internal heating temperature will be very high. When the cooling of the car wash or rain or snow causes a large temperature difference between the inside and outside, there is a certain chance that fog will form, just like there is fog inside the windows of the home in winter, and there is fog on the front windshield in winter. This is a normal physical phenomenon, not water leakage. With use, the wet and cold gas inside the headlight is baked and discharged, and the fog phenomenon slowly ceases to appear.
