This auction for a 1956 Ferrante & Teicher Soundproof! Stereophonic 7 1/2" reel to reel music tape.
One of the first popular feel to reel tape recordings ever issued (Sonotape, SWB 8007, 1956, 2 track 7 1/2 i.p.s.. Ferrante and Teicher used their "Prepared Piano Technique" on their first few recordings, making the music produced at that time very distinctive from their later recordings.
