This listing is for a BRAND NEW Gentex *FRAMELESS* auto dim rear view mirror with Homelink® Version 5 garage / gate opener controls, Homelink® Connect and backlit buttons.

This mirror can be used in the 2015-2026 GMC Canyon and it will be plug & play as long as your vehicle currently has the factory 10 pin auto dim mirror.

Mirror can be used on vehicles equipped with the factory OnStar® mirror; however, OnStar® will no longer be functional if you replace the factory mirror (it will not cause any issues with your vehicle).

Please note: if your vehicle is equipped with a black plastic cover/shroud that surrounds the mirror stem, some minor trimming of the opening in the cover may be required as part of the mirror installation.

This is a simple plug & play installation!!  Remove and unplug your vehicle's auto dimming mirror, plug in and mount the new mirror. Mirror secures to the windshield mount just like the factory mirror, with a T-20 Torx/star drive screw.  Then just program the Homelink® buttons and you're all set.  Please note that the Homelink buttons operate only when the ignition is on. 

If your vehicle currently has exterior dimming mirror(s) you will still have that feature after upgrading to the frameless mirror.

NOTE: Wire cover is not included.  Many vehicles have a rather large black plastic cover over other sensors & things attached to the windshield, so on these vehicles, no wire cover is needed.  However, if your vehicle has nothing on the windshield surrounding the mirror, then you will need the wire cover we have available in our eBay store.

 If purchased with the mirror, the cover will ship in the same box & we will refund any additional shipping charges back to you.

Shipping will be via insured USPS Priority Mail. Also, we combine multiple purchases into one shipment to keep shipping charges as low as possible. Canadian shipments: You may be responsible for customs duties - if so, these are charged by your country's Customs agency, not by us.  All international shipments are properly declared as merchandise and for their full value.  We do not ship items & declare them as gifts or for amounts less than their full value.

 


HomeLink® consists of three buttons conveniently located on the face of the mirror that can be programmed to operate garage doors, estate gates, security systems, home lighting and other radio-frequency controlled devices. HomeLink® and the HomeLink® House are registered trademarks of Gentex Corporation.

The extent of the Company’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product and, in no event shall the company’s liability exceed the purchase price paid by the purchaser for the product.

For any item that includes a warranty, the warranty only applies to items sold & installed on vehicles in the United States.  WARRANTY IS VOID IF ITEM IS EXPORTED OUTSIDE OF THE USA.

Warranty Policy – Purchaser MUST first contact the Company before any warranty consideration will be given.  In order to receive warranty consideration, a very specific warranty replacement procedure must be followed. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THE PROCEDURE, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY WARRANTY CONSIDERATION – NO EXCEPTIONS.

No supposedly defective item may be returned WITHOUT FIRST CONTACTING THE COMPANY.

If a replacement item is requested PRIOR to the return of a supposedly defective item, purchaser must pay for the replacement item including shipping and will then receive a refund for the purchase price of item only after defective item has been returned.

If a replacement item is not requested prior to the return of the supposedly defective item, then the purchaser must first ship the defective item, with shipping the responsibility of the purchaser, back to the Company. After receipt of the supposedly defective item, a replacement item will be shipped to purchaser within 5 to 7 business days, with shipping the responsibility of the purchaser.

Warranty does not cover labor and other costs incurred for the removal or reinstallation of the product, or damage to the vehicle’s electrical system. Warranty does not cover shipping charges to return the defective item or for the replacement item.

Items returned that are not found to be defective will be returned to purchaser, with shipping charges the responsibility of the purchaser.

For any items that are shipped to the Company, you are responsible for the item until we receive it.  This means that if it is lost or damaged in transit and it was not insured, you will not be covered for the loss or damage.

This Warranty does not apply to any product or part thereof which has been damaged through alteration, improper installation, mishandling, misuse, neglect, or accident.
