I hate when I'm trying to vacuum something and the exhaust is fighting me by blowing dust and debris into the air before it can get sucked up, just to settle back on the floor. So, this part was designed and printed here in the US to redirect the air exhaust from the M18 Packout vacuum in a 180-degree up-and-out fan pattern and be as low profile as possible.
This is a 3rd generation design, meant to offer very good durability and as little restriction as possible to the air flow (the combined size of the perforated holes is larger than the outlet on the body of the vacuum by about 20%). It uses the same twist-lock lugs as other Milwaukee accessories so it won't come loose or leak any air from the attachment point. Note: that because these are printed one at a time, you can expect some small cosmetic blemishes.
As far as I know this is only compatible with the M18 Fuel Packout vacuum (0970-20), and Milwaukee uses different ports for their other vacuums....but I'm not sure since I only have my one vacuum to test with.
