This will not work for Borg Warner T56 OE Transmissions or TR-6060 Transmissions.  This if for Tremec Aftermarket Transmissions.

Tremec T-56 Magnum, TKX and TKO transmissions use a Ford speedometer drive and require this adapter or a custom speedometer cable. This package is the easiest and most economical solution to connect to your existing GM 7/8" threaded cable to the transmission. This one piece design incorporates a double O-ring seal for the transmission case opening, as well as, an internal seal to prevent fluid from leaking through where the cable attaches.  The drive spindle is a solid steel swiss machined part for extra strength and accuracy.  When ordering, we will need you to list your tire size (ex: 295/45-15 or overall height), as well as your rear end ratio so we can get you the proper driven gear. **If your vehicle is calculated to the 17T Gear, you will need to choose either a 16T or an 18T. **  Your speedometer will be off around 5 mph too slow (18T) or too fast (16T).  You can also source a speedometer ratio adapter that can correct the speed difference from Nevada Speedometer Services.
