It is inspired by skilled sharpeners and aims to quicken the time required for sharpening and polishing. With the Convexing Clamp, the professional scissors sharpener is not limited to a single angle or the need for repeated adjustments to achieve a convex or semi-convex edge. By rotating the clamp, the angle can be gradually raised to blend and feather the polished edge more quickly and easily. The Convexing Clamp replicates factory sharpening while also providing a positive stop to prevent polishing over the cutting edge. The angle is infinitely adjustable, allowing the sharpener to uniformly convex the entire blade up to the spine as needed.
