Vintage Art Deco Shipton & Co Sterling 925 Solid Silver Bar Brooch

I am unable to identify the centre 'stone' as it appears to be a type of resin, which is cracking making it quite unusual. It has lifted a bit in one corner (see photo). The mount is very pretty and beautifully made. It is in excellent condition with minor age related wear and tarnishing. Please view photos carefully as they form part of the description.
