GPIO and PoE Pin Header Height Increaser Extender for Raspberry Pi

This GPIO and PoE pin header height increaser and extender is designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi, raising the GPIO and PoE ports to prevent short circuits caused by backboard solder joints contacting the heatsink. Perfect for users with add-on boards like PoE HATs, this height increaser provides essential clearance, ensuring safe operation and compatibility with cooling setups. Quick to install and built for reliable long-term use.

Note: Since this product can be a bit difficult to remove once installed, please follow the video instructions carefully. To make detachment easier, gently rock the GPIO Extender side to side as you pull it from the Raspberry Pi's GPIO pins.

Note:Please note that the length of the included standoffs essentially matches the plastic body of the header.

Installation Appearance: Once installed, you will notice the standoffs are lower than the top of the header's plastic body. This is intentional and correct. (Please refer to the installation rendering in the product images.)

Why? The Raspberry Pi's mounting holes are naturally situated lower than the GPIO interface. By extending both parts by the same amount, we preserve this native height difference.

This ensures perfect compatibility with the standoffs included with HAT expansion boards. If we designed our standoffs to be flush with the installed header, the standoffs accompanying the HAT would be too tall relative to the connection, preventing the HAT from installing correctly.
