With the PIKO BR 83.10 from DR there is now an operational, large-scale model of this exceptional locomotive type. In keeping with the special nature of the prototype, the finely detailed PIKO model can also present itself as an outstanding locomotive. The striking locomotive in a two -king execution impresses with the excellently successful implementation of the role model proportions and comes up with a variety of specially attached parts, including many fine lines, winds, bells, whistles, lids on the waterboxes, alternator, appearances for the buffer, ladders, hand stalls, heating lines and sand pipes. The fine spoke wheels, the filigree controls and the detailed cab interior make the locomotive an eye-catcher on the layout.
Technically, the PIKO BR 83.10 is also at the height of the time and has driver's house lighting, chassis lighting, LED tip signal and the possibility to equip the locomotive with a smoke set. In combination with 2 built -in hustle and bustle, the strong engine ensures sufficient tensile forces for all prototypical train compositions.
Installing a digital decoder and retrofitting with sound is possible without any problems. Brake hoses, tow hooks and long protective tubes are included with the model.
