A Rare Victorian Hallmarked Sterling Silver Strapwork Tankard by Martin Hall & Co

The Tankard is 3 5/8" in height (to the rim) with a length of 4 1/2" (handle to rim) with a diameter of 2 1/4" to the base and a diameter of 2 7/8" to the upper rim and has a substantial weight of 7.4 oz or 210 grams

The Tankard sits on a circular pierced base with an excellent shape to the body with a wide central band which is beautifully engraved with strapwork and 4 matte quatrefoil recessed panels with 2 having raised portrait busts with the cast "C" shaped handle matching the design round the body with a raised cast head (see photo's)

The Tankard is free of any Inscriptions or Monograms (see photo's)

The Tankard is in Excellent Condition (see photo's)
