Brown full cloth boards, dark brown embossed cover titles and design, some shelf, corner, edge wear, rub.  Gilt spine titles, bright with rub.  Cover and spine depict montage scenes of Little Giant Boab stepping from his time machine to club a wild boar while his raven, Tabib, soars from vortex above; Boab scales a castle wall at spine.

Frontispiece illustration intact.  Geometric patterned pastedowns and endpapers of more recent rebind attractively toned to match.  Advert at front endpaper for "Little Baron Trump..."  Pages very good with toning.  Stylish antiquarian signature pencilled at endpaper: "David L. Davie".  Bind good, square; hinges intact.   Rare near very good first edition of this wonderfully rich, illustrated adventure.
