The MZ-372 is a rack-mount mixer from TASCAM with six microphone/monaural line inputs and twelve stereo line inputs for connection. It also features a separate microphone input for announcements, and two main outputs with a choice of XLR balanced or RCA unbalanced jacks. A single unit provides flexible support for complex sound systems that manage numerous microphones and playback devices.

■Six switchable controls for mic/monaural line input and stereo line input.

Up to 6 mic/monaural line inputs and 12 stereo line inputs can be centrally controlled by a single unit. 2-4 channels are PHONO input compatible, allowing connection of a record player.

■Channel configuration for easy operation

Each channel is equipped with a level meter and slide fader. The level meters and slide faders are provided on each channel for ease of operation and visibility. Input source selection is easy with simple button operation. In addition, gain adjustment, 3-band EQ, and pre-fader monitoring of the channel's input source are also available.

■Microphone Inputs Ideal for Announcements

One independent microphone input is provided on the front panel. A "TALKOVER" function is provided to automatically attenuate the volume of other channels, such as background music, when microphone audio is input. The sound quality can be adjusted with a 2-band EQ.

2 main outputs

Two main outputs are provided, selectable between XLR balanced and RCA unbalanced connectors. Stereo level meters with high visibility are provided, as well as a sub-output with RCA unbalanced terminals and an output for monitor speakers.

The same audio is output from the main outputs.
