It includes rare demos and recordings, as well as a previously unreleased live recording from their May 22, 1976 performance in Paris, France!
The album "Destroyer", which celebrates its 45th anniversary this year, is one of KISS's masterpieces, released in 1976. It was their first album to sell 1 million copies in the first year of release, and it is also their best-selling studio album of all time. It is one of KISS's masterpieces, packed with classic songs that are still familiar from their live shows, such as "Detroit Rock City", "Cry of the Dead", "Thunder God", and "Beth", as well as popular songs that are favorites of the fans called "KISS Army".
This 2-CD set, "The Inferno - 45th Anniversary Deluxe Edition," released to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the album's release, features the original album newly remastered by Abbey Road Mastering on CD 1. The much-anticipated CD 2 includes six demos (five of which have never been released) from the archives of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons' personal collection, as well as alternate versions/mixes, single edits, and four previously unreleased performances from the Olympia Theater in Paris, France on May 22, 1976. The still-popular classic "Beth" is the subject of much discussion as it includes a new mix, stripped of all ornamental sounds, called the "acoustic mix." Only the Japanese edition is released in SHM-CD format.
KISS, which is still active with four members, Paul Stanley (vo, g), Gene Simmons (vo, b), Eric Singer (ds, vo), and Tommy Thayer (g, vo), has resumed their final tour "End of the Road" that was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has already been announced that the "End of the Road" tour will be held around the world in 2022.
