Up for sale here is this kit to replace one channel worth of Pioneer SX-1280 output transistors.  These can be used to help replace defective output transistors in the Pioneer SX-1280 receiver.  You will receive two circuit boards, four Yageo 0.47 ohm 5W resistors, two Onsemi MJL1302AG transistors, two Onsemi MJL3281AG transistors, and four silicone TO-3P insulators.

These are easy to solder up and install where the old outputs were installed.  They are properly sized so they will mount neatly with no issues.  Why waste your time buying used or potentially fake transistors on eBay when you can use these neat little boards to replace them at a fraction of the price?

These boards are easy to assemble, and are clearly labeled for ease of installation.  If you'd prefer to buy just the bare boards, those are available here.

Assembly and installation is fairly easy--you will need a soldering iron and solder.  You can reuse the old wires on your SX-1280.  These will take a little skill to assemble, so you should have some experience working with vintage gear.  Keep in mind that if you have blown outputs then you probably have other bad transistors and possibly other parts, so make sure you replace the other bad parts and use a dim-bulb tester to protect your receiver.

I have shown pictures of a set of these installed in a 1280, so you can see what they look like assembled and installed, but the set you receive will not be assembled.

US shipping and handling is $7, and international is $21, no matter what quantity you buy. All my small parts are set up for combined shipping, so just use the "add to cart" feature and then check out all at once, and it will combine shipping. If you have any questions, please ask.
