COLOR: WHITE (Donor Car 1976 CDV with 51K ORIGINAL MILES~!). This WHITE color was identical from 1975-76. The 1976 woodgrain coloring is a bit darker/bolder than the 1975 panel - but they are the exact same size and can interchange easily. Don't like the color? DYE it~! DESCRIPTION: Do you have a great Coupe DeVille (from Texas, Arizona or California) that has a heat roasted / sun-cracked interior? This panel needs a good home in that kind of car. This style of panel was the end of the line for the old school ways. Thick formed "crinkled" vinyl covered pad was adhered to METAL simulated-woodgrain backing panels - there hasn't been anything like it since! But with age and heat these panels can dry out and crack (especially in Southern cars!) or lose their coloring. The panels I am offering in my store are all OEM original parts, made by Cadillac in the 1970's -- but they are from high quality Midwestern donor cars that don't have the issues mentioned above (see detailed description below). It's rare to find these panels in this Excellent / Show Quality condition, after all they are HALF of a CENTURY in age. ** CHECK MY eBAY STORE FOR MORE REAR SEAT PANELS IN THE SAME COLOR~! This Driver's Side Rear Seat Upper Trim Panel came from a 1976 Coupe DeVille (51K MILES!!) with a Red/White interior (I have the other premium panels rear seat panels available too - check my store listings or message me). Overall the Upper Trim Panel is in impressive shape for being 49 years old. Vinyl is not faded....actually it's still rather soft and pliable. Nice even coloring across the panel. The only pad flaw is that there are 3 cracks (unknown origin) -- see pics. Not too hard to repair with white vinyl patch kit (if you so desire to do). Woodgraining looks stunning - deep rich color tones, not all sun/heat faded. It'll be an ideal replacement for any lesser quality pad...Great quality pads like this one are very hard to find these days!
