Up for sale here is this recap kit for a pair of Klipsch KG4.5 speakers. This will let you completely recap two (2) Klipsch KG4.5 speakers. These are brand new Supertech MPT (metallized polypropylene film) capacitors, which are super-high-quality and will sound nice and clear.
There are two different crossover designs for the Klipsch KG4.5 speakers. The early version uses two 33 uf caps, two 3 uf caps, and two 2.5 uf caps. The later version uses two 33 uf caps, two 8 uf caps, and two 2.5 uf caps. If you have the early version, buy the $28 kit, and if you have the later version, buy the $29 kit. You will need to open up your speakers to see which crossover version you have. This listing is set up so you can select whichever set of caps you need.
These are fairly easy to install as long as you know what you're doing. You will need a decent soldering iron, solder, a Philips and/or flathead screwdriver, wire cutters, and a hot glue gun or rubber cement to aid in mounting the caps. The new caps are larger than the originals, because they are much higher-quality. They will still fit just fine.
