This Yuan Shih-Kai Dollar Yuan Fatman Pendant is a stunning piece of antique jewellery crafted using a Year 3 of the Republic coin which contains .890 silver. This pendant features three turquoise tear drop shaped stones and comes with an elegant chain, making it a perfect addition to any collection. The chain is stamped 925 Silver and Sterling. The coin has a Chinese origin from the 1910s, however where the piece was made is a mystery. The closest style I have seen comes from Central Asia.

Note the eight dangling and jingling tribal chains. These are handmade and not silver. The have repousse baubles at the end which create a jingling sound. One is missing it's back half. Note the rear of the pendant has two sharpened clasps, like a brooch, for affixing the pendant to traditional garment or scarf.

This unique piece showcases intricate detailing and is a must-have for collectors of Asian coins.
