Luang Pu So is regarded as one of the senior monks with a long life span of 113 years. He is a disciple of Luang Pu Sitthath who continued the lineage of knowledge from Somdej Loon of Champasak, the same lineage as Luang Pu Mun of Wat Ban Chan. Somdej Loon was the most famous monk in Laos at that time. Luang Pu So’s amulets are known for their ability to enhance one's destiny, protect from dangers, and bring personal blessings.

*****Phra Pidta Thep Bandan by Luang Pu So is filled with Khluea Roi Pla Male and Female powder, both as stems and powder. The amulet was cast from old sacred metal alloys donated by teachers and devotees, totaling over 10 kilograms. These metals were melted down to create the Phra Pidta Thep Bandan. 

*****The consecration ceremony followed precise rituals and invocations performed by the masters, channeling the earth's energy into the sacred objects using a crystal ball. The sacred items were covered with specific yantra cloths made for the consecration of Phra Pidta Thep Bandan and individually blessed by Luang Pu So Khantiko. 

*****The amulet is filled with legendary herbs like Khluea Roi Pla, cultivated with magic by Master Oop, a famous master of herbs from Lahan Sai, whose lineage continues the knowledge of Khluea Roi Pla. These herbs, after being consecrated, are believed to provide invincibility and great wealth. 

*****Phra Pidta Thep Bandan underwent the traditional herb activation ceremony from the lineage of Master Oop, ensuring each amulet was charged with the herb’s power. 

Highly Sacred Materials and Ceremonial Rites Make Up Phra Pidta Thep Bandan 

Meticulously made inside and out, Phra Pidta Thep Bandan by Luang Pu So, 113 years old, involved selecting rare and valuable materials and detailed consecration processes. 

  1. Even the thread wrapped around the sacred objects was wound nine times. 
  2. The yantra cloths covering the sacred items in the ceremony were four in number, covering four directions with great power for attraction, charm, and safety. 
  3. A crystal ball was placed above the sacred objects to channel energy, as described in the ancient scriptures of Phra Kru Muang Phitsanulok. 
  4. Incense sticks were placed in eight directions around the ceremony hall to invoke the spirits of the land, forest, and the guardians of wealth. 
  5. Offerings followed the scriptures of Phra Kru Muang Phitsanulok, including both sweet and savory items and fruits. 
  6. The consecration was performed in three phases: 

Each Takrut under the base of the special Phra Pidta Thep Bandan was individually inscribed and rolled with the Maha Vayura Chants. 

Luang Pu So passed away peacefully at 114 years and 94 years in the monastic order on July 6th, 2023.
