The YX series sealing ring is the most commonly used sealing ring in oil cylinders, which is a typical lip sealing ring.
In low pressure situations, sealing is only generated by the interference deformation of the lips, and due to the small contact surface, the friction force is relatively low. As the pressure increases, the elastic variable of the lip increases, and the tensile, compressive, and bending stresses increase. The radial compression force of the sealing ring automatically increases, and the length of contact with the sealing surface continuously increases until the entire axial length of the sealing ring contacts the sealing surface, ensuring good sealing performance under high pressure.
