The Illumina MiniSeq is a powerful genetic analyzer that offers next generation sequencing technology in a compact and accessible package.  This system achieves a fast and easy NGS workflow by combining load-and-go operation with an intuitive user interface that doesn’t require any ancillary equipment to operate.  This genetic analyzer is an affordable solution that can be used for clonal amplification, sequencing by synthesis, and base calling, all in a single piece of equipment.

The MiniSeq System is operated by use of a user-friendly touch screen interface that can configure, launch, monitor, and analyze sequencing runs. The MiniSeq System can be interfaced with any web browser to view performance metrics and real time data. This analyzer is ideal for a broad range of applications, including expression profiling, targeted resequencing, tumor profiling and more, and can be used to prepare DNA or RNA libraries for targeted applications, sequence, analyze data and interpret results. This sequencer is an all-in-one complete package!

The sequencer is capable of processing between 8 million and 25 million single reads per run, with a maximum read length of 2×150 base pairs.  Run times range anywhere from 4-24 hours.
