This is a very fine and rare Dutch  asparagus tong 833 silver(Lion stamp  with number:"2") and it belongs to  circa 1826 with letter:"R".There is also maker stamp of moon and 2 dots with initials that reads:V K.The silver tong has gorgeous details with teeth design .The piece is in very good condition and shows rarely been used.The total length measures about:9 3/4" .It weighs:133.2 grams or:4.285 troy ounces.This hand-chased silver tong works perfectly .
