Pineider La Grande Bellezza Fountain Pen Rodolite Dark Red Medium Nib

The exclusive compound of the Pineider La Grande Bellezza Gemstone collection is a mix of resins and marble dust. 

"The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" is evident in the cap band, which is an English-language pangram – a sentence that contains all the letters of the alphabet. The phrase is commonly used for touch-typing practice, testing typewriters and computer keyboards, displaying examples of fonts, and other applications involving text where the use of all letters in the alphabet is desired.

This pen is composed with the dusts of marble which lends a distinctive warmth, weight, shine, and sound to the pen, that set it apart from the traditional writing instruments. 

Marble may be dyed to the vibrant colors of semi-precious stones to provide an outstanding and lively color palette. This pen seems to change colors depending on light source and intensity. At times it almost looks black, then it will lighten to a burgundy or deep burnished plum red once light reflects on the pen resin.

The Pineider La Grande Bellezza is fitted with Pineider's Hyperflex nib - made of rhodium plated 14k gold, it writes to the lightest stroke. It is flexible and dynamic, yet it does not cross the line of a calligrapher's nib. Hyperflex is meant to be used every day, all day long. 

The engraving of the tip is inspired by an Art Nouveau print from the Pineider archive and the shape of the keyhole has a special meaning - it is the contour of the engraving tool ("Bulino" It.), which Pineider's craftsmen have used to manufacture the dies of its exclusive prints since 1774. The small notches at the side of the Nib are key to its performance. They rid of just enough metal to obtain the perfect flex of the tip. 

The La Grande Bellezza fountain pen is fitted with an ink converter but can also take international standard size cartridges.

The random patterns in the swirled resins will capture your gaze endlessly. 

Depending on the source intensity and type of lighting such as sunlight, halogen or fluorescent light the shimmer and colorations of resins can appear to change hue.

Condition: Pen is new and includes the box set shown with stationary set envelopes. The U-clip inside the box that holds the pen in place is slightly loose on the back side of the wall that holds the instruction pamphlets. All photos are the actual pen and box you will receive.
