This is a new HEAT CONTROL PLUG, direct from manufacturer, it just looks different from the vintage square ones.

It will work with any liquid oil core electric skillet that uses a WB #1 plug and I have personally tested it on a vintage 900 watt Saladmaster skillet and a newer Kitchen Craft skillet with no issues. 

It will work for Lustre Craft, Kitchen Craft, Townecraft, Saladmaster, Webalco, Miracle Maid, Lifetime, Health Craft, Regal Society, and Royal Prestige liquid core skillets and many other electric woks, skillets and fondue sets....
BASICALLY ANYTHING THAT TAKES A WB #1 CORD.
