Testor's gas powered tether racer of Wally Dallenbach's No.22 1969 Indy 500 Eagle Offenhauser. This model was produced in 1970 as a mail order promotion for Sprite soda. This model is in nice, unrun shape. No tire wear. The decals have been applied and are very brittle. New replacements are available. No fuel has been put in the tank. No corrosion. The engine does not turn due to the original lubricant going hard. It should free up with a little alcohol and tlc. The carb needle thimble turns correctly. All plastic chrome is perfect. Includes the owners manual and all docs ,order form for the starting kit etc. The wire for tether attachment is here. Original box has all flaps intact but open. It is a bit stained and worn looking but is all here. There is no spike, tether or starting kit here. A little dusty from being displayed. Buy to run or just display. Thanks for looking!
