All sales are final. Winning bidder assumes all risk of liability with respect to the purchase of the product.
Buyer is responsible for shipping charges. Payment must be received within three (3) days of auction closing, or buyer forfeits all rights to purchase.
Buyer is responsible for paying the additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees.
Payment methods:
Paypal, Visa/MasterCard, Discover, American Express. All price and payments must be in US currency.
Sales Tax:
California residents pay sales tax based on the California SBoE publicised tax rate for Los Angeles.
Shipping & Insurance Costs.
OnlineCarStereo does not ship to APO/FPO addresses for any reason, under any circumstance.
OnlineCarStereo is not responsible for fees, taxes, tariffs and/or brokerage fees associated with shipping product to Canada.
Each product will be declared and insured at the full closing cost of an order to guarantee full replacement value in the event that the package is lost, stolen or damaged in transit.
Any claim for insurance has to be filed, processed, and payment received from the insurance company before sending out replacement item, if available. This process can take 4-6 weeks. OnlineCarStereo does not refund shipping costs for any reason, under any circumstance.
OnlineCarStereo Warranty Policy
OnlineCarStereo will honor a one year limited warranty on "Brand New" products which are not under manufacturer warranty. These items must be returned to OnlineCarStereo, not their original manufacturer.
The warranty description at the end of the product features on each product page will define the type of warranty offered.
The cost to return merchandise to OnlineCarStereo for refunds, exchanges, warranties, and DOA products is the sole responsibility of the customer and any charges, taxes, duties, or fees associated with the return shipment will not be reimbursed. This cost can be equated to the cost of driving back to any local retail store to complete a return.
Depending on the manufacturer, the defect, and product availability; returns may be repaired, replaced, or a store credit may be issued to the customer's account.
- If defective product is repaired, it will be returned in the same cosmetic condition in which it was received.
- If a store credit must be issued; charges for missing parts or damaged packaging will be deducted from amount credited.
- Replacements are available for a limited number of manufacturers and are provided at the discretion of Onlinecarstereo.com.
What's not covered:
- Misuse, abuse, defacement, physical damage of any kind, and improper installation / operation.
- Video and multimedia equipment with damaged or cracked screens.
- Subwoofers and speakers are not warranted against being blown, burned or abused.
Onlinecarstereo.com defines speaker/subwoofer abuse as, but not limited to, burnt voice coils (blackened, no continuity, melted adhesives, coil separated from the former, etc.) punctured or damaged surrounds, broken speaker terminals, bent, chipped or broken frames, ripped spiders or damaged back plates.
Submitting items for warranty in any of the above conditions will result in refusal of any associated warranty requests and return shipping will be charged to have item returned at customer's expense.
Onlinecarstereo.com shall not be held liable for incidental loss of use, installation or removal and re-installation charges associated with defective or returned product. Products that have been improperly installed may not be covered by this or any other warranty.
Products damaged due to improper or inadequate packaging when returned are not granted warranty coverage.
Limited 90 Day Refurbished and Open Box Warranty Policy
OnlineCarStereo will honor a 90-Day limited warranty on products labeled as "Refurbished", "Factory Reconditioned", or "Open Box". These products must be returned to OnlineCarStereo.com and not their original manufacturer.
Speakers and Subwoofers Warranty Policy
Speakers and subwoofers that have been installed by a certified professional and have been found to be defective can be returned within 30 days of the original ship date for warranty replacement.
Additional shipping costs may apply and the assessment of such costs is at the sole discretion of OnlineCarStereo.com.
Speakers and subwoofers that have been abused or misused are ineligible for warranty replacement. Abuse and misuse as defined by OnlineCarStereo.com includes but is not limited to:
- Blown Woofers
- Burnt or blackened voice coils
- Melted adhesives
- Coils lacking continuity or separated from the former
- Punctured or damaged surrounds
- Bent, chipped or broken frames
- Worn or Broken terminals
- Frayed or disconnected wires
- Ripped spiders
- Damaged back plates.
- Speakers and subwoofers that have been abused or misused and are considered out of warranty will be returned at the buyer's expense.
Dead on Arrival (DoA) Claims
- Claims must be submitted within 7 days to be eligible for a replacement or refund
- Professional installation receipt documentation is required for all dead on arrival claims.
- Some manufacturer's have no replacement warranty and can only be sent for repair.
Return Shipping
The cost to return merchandise to OnlineCarStereo.com for refunds, exchanges, warranties, and DOA products is the sole responsibility of the customer. This cost can be equated to the cost of driving back to any local retail store to complete a return. OnlineCarStereo.com is not responsible for any shipping costs associated with these returns.
Customers are not liable for shipping charges if the incorrect item was shipped or if an item has been damaged/lost in transit by the carrier. Refunds for lost or damaged packages will be issued after a claim has been filed, and approved by the carrier and OnlineCarStereo.com has received final confirmation of payment.
Non-paying bidder policy:
Please read the auction description carefully and bid responsibly! OnlineCarStereo does not tolerate non-paying bidders.
If OnlineCarStereo is unable to establish contact with the high bidder within three (3) business days from the end of the auction, the item will be re-listed and a file a Non-Paying Bidder Alert with eBay which may ultimately lead to indefinite suspension.
Feedback:
Positive feedback will be left automatically by our system within 24-48 hours of receiving positive feedback from a buyer.
All products sold by OnlineCarStereo.com are brand new, first quality (never seconds or "knock-offs"), brand name merchandise. We do offer factory reconditioned items, the condition of those items are marked as �factory reconditioned� on their product page and they all offer a limited 90 day warranty.
